Korg Karma Synthesizer

The new KARMA music workstation is based on Karma's new technology of the same name, which Korg describes as "Performing Variations Modeling". This instrument also brings together the best of the TRITON workstations: rich voices, versatile effects and great sequencer capabilities. The combination of all these advances has created a musical instrument with both a powerful synthesizer part and an intuitive interface that takes this workstation to new heights in the music industry. Music workstation KARMA uses 62-voice polyphony. It uses the HI (Hyper Integrated) synthesis system, similar to the TRITON series instruments. The instrument has 32 MB of PCM samples. The arsenal of sounds in ROM consists of 384 factory and 640 user programs. Also available are 256 programs and 9 drum kits compatible with GM level 2. 786 presets are provided for user combinations. The extensive effects section provides musicians with 102 different effect algorithms. There are 5 insert effects, 2 master effects and a 3-band EQ that can be used simultaneously. The instrument's designers have Korg Karma Synthesizer  provided flexible routing, thanks to which the signal can be routed through any combination of effects and to any of the 4 outputs. The sequencer of the KARMA workstation has 16 tracks with a capacity of up to 200,000 notes. You can record up to 200 songs in total with up to 999 measures per song. The created songs can be saved as SMF (Standard MIDI File). File compatibility with Korg TRITON series instruments is supported. If basic capabilities are no longer sufficient, the KARMA Workstation can be expanded with two optional EXB-PCM series cards. Each board contains 16 MB of PCM data with their programs and combinations. Supports EXB-MOSS DSP Synthesizer board containing MOSS DSP Synthesis Block (Multi Generator Synthesizer).
